kept shouting
their bad advice —
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.

Individual + Group Therapy

Experience an Integrated Approach to Healing

Neuroscience teaches us that, given the right conditions, a brain will move toward integration and regulation. Wisdom teaches us that every person’s path to discovering those conditions is their own. Rebecca’s attention to your unique experience trusts that you already know the path forward, and given attuned support, your new voice will emerge.
In individual therapy, Rebecca draws on Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems and an array of specialized techniques to support experienced clients who are ready to move into a deeper process of transformation.
Rebecca specializes in working with women, men, and nonbinary adults, including those with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other neurodiversities. She is experienced in supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Rebecca offers in-person and virtual therapy from her home base in Austin, Texas, in addition to focused clinical groups and therapy intensives.

Clinical Consulting

Expand Your Capacity to Heal

Often the clients most in need of treatment don’t respond to standard protocols. After witnessing many individuals struggle to find the care they need, Rebecca made it her goal to increase the network of available support by sharing her unique expertise with as many clinicians as possible.
As a consultant, Rebecca helps other therapists deepen their understanding of neuroscience-based approaches and experiential trauma-focused therapies. She specializes in helping fellow clinicians expand their understanding of neurodivergence, Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), dissociation and chronic illness. Through their work together, clinicians learn new ways to treat complex cases they may have previously turned away and expand their capacity to heal.

About

Rebecca Pancoast is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Texas and a Senior Clinician at IPNB Psychotherapy of Austin. Six years of ongoing post-graduate concurrent IFS and IPNB training and consultation affords Rebecca a unique and nuanced understanding of the application of parts work. Recently, Rebecca was invited to be among the first staff members for the STAIR Method, Juliane Taylor Shore’s emerging approach for integrating the science of memory reconsolidation across therapeutic modalities.
Rebecca believes that honesty and kindness are not mutually exclusive. When we balance grounded discernment with self-compassion, we discover the courage to face painful realities. Through her therapeutic process, Rebecca co-creates embodied experiences of belonging and worth to empower her clients to hear the voice that they will slowly come to recognize as their own.
